Trying out an inner corner highlight
I'm pretty dull when it comes to my eye make up and now I'm wearing it less and less on a daily basis it is quite exciting when I do decide to apply it, I can't be the only one who finds herself looking forward to getting ready can I? Whenever I see images from catwalk shows when I'm perusing the likes of Tumblr and Pinterest there is normally always a couple of common themes, glowing skin and an inner corner highlight. Whilst I'm never going to Miranda Kerr, I can still adopt the make up methods she uses right?
Naturally my eyes are quite large and round, kinda like a bug so I don't need anymore help with opening them up but I always think a pop of white in the corner really lightens up the face. A product that is absolutely perfect for this look is the Collection Eyeshadow Pencil in Vanilla Sky. I used this a lot last year just all over the lid but it can be a little too bright for that sometimes so simply dotted on and blended out gives a really pretty look.
I've mentioned MAC Shroom quite a few times recently but as I use it most days I should probably give it a little more love. I mostly mix it with my other everyday lid colour of choice Naked Lunch but I've been finding other uses for it too. Whenever I've been on away from home and on the go I've been using it as a highlight on the bridge of my nose, brow bone and cupids bow. However used on a small detailer brush it creates a really subtle highlight which brings so much light to my complexion.
Are you a fan of the inner corner highlight?
