Right Colour Wrong Season
If I could think of one colour to sum up the entire beauty community it would be peachy pink. I am yet to read or a blog or watch somebody on YouTube who doesn't adore those hues. It easy to see why it is a beautiful shade but I myself seem to have a little love/hate relationship with.
You would think going into the cooler months now that we are in September I would be steering toward for berry shades but no I am currently in the midst of a peachy pink love affair. As I am a fair skinned sometimes these colours can look completely off with my complexion so I find that they work best when I have a little colour. For cheeks it is easy to pin point my favourite PP offerings and first and foremost has to be Sleek's blush in Rose Gold. Such a beautiful shade and it is marked as a dupe to the NARS Orgasm blush but for a fraction of the price and just as good quality. Benefit are famous for their box blushers and I remembering wanting to try Coralista for the longest time so when it arrived in this little trio I was a happy bunny. Much more peach than Sleek's offering so gives a much more of a natural flush on the cheeks in comparison. Now the Benefit blushes are not cheap in the slightest which is there downfall but they do come out with these trio's at Christmas so keep your eyes peeled for them. The only matt and cream formula I own is the Topshop cream blush in 'Head Over Heels' which applies in a cream formula but sets to a powder finish so perfect for more oily skins.
Now the peachy pink lipsticks are something that I truly covet after as lets face it they are such things of beauty. My favourite by far has to be MAC's Cut a Caper and I can't stand that this is limited edition why do you do this to us MAC? It is by far the perfect combination and as it is a cremesheen finish it hydrates the lips as well as having high colour pay off. A good dupe for this though is the Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in shade 16 leaning more toward the matte side of proceeding and a little more pink than peach. If you aren't a fan of wearing lipstick everyday like myself the Korres lip butter in Pomegranate. This packs of a lot of punch with colour but is very buttery in consistency so hydrates the lips and the colour wears evenly and doesn't wear evenly which is my main gripe with lipsticks.
What are your favourite peachy pink offerings?
