Love for the Liner
I feel like I have had a strong relationship with eyeliner since the tender age of 15 when I used to apply it so heavily round my eyes. I probably resembled a panda but I loved it but our relationship ended and I just stopped wearing such heavy liner but since I have come into many a love affair with a liner.
From lips to eyes I seem to have all basis covered for every eventuality. So lets start from the top and work our way down and that is brows and the only brow pencil I own the L'Oreal Super Liner Brow Artist* in the shade brunette. I have a distinct fear of brow pencils as I really don't like harsh lines and I feel that comes with the domain of a pencil. The shade is spot on and it is soft enough to create the illusion of real fine hairs and I never add anything to my own brows I just define them. Eye's is a tricky one as much as I would love to be one of those girls who has that perfect cat flick my eyes are far too round it do it. So I tend to just wear black liner in the waterline to define my eyes a lot more (especially now I have a fringe again) my favourites are Benefits Bad Gal waterproof liner and this is when I want something a little smudgy and more smokey. Everyday I tend to go for the L'Oreal Super Liner GelMatic* which sits in my waterline perfectly and I tend to tight line my lashes with this too and it really doesn't budge. If I want something less dramatic than black I like to go for a grey in my waterline as it really makes my green eyes pop a little more than black does and my favourite is the Rimmel Kohl liner (which they no longer make sob) and it is a beautiful grey colour. I would suggest anybody with green or blue eyes to try grey on their eyes it looks beautiful. The Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl Kajal liner in the shade nude and this is great for when I haven't slept well and my eyes look tired this just brightens them up.
I only have two lip liners in my collection but they both get used on a weekly basis most days. For any red lipstick I wear I always use the No7 Perfect Lips in the shade fire (not cherry like I stupidly wrote) as it glides on perfectly and doesn't enhance any dry areas. If I don't fancy wearing lipstick on top either I can just wear this alone and it looks lovely and doesn't budge. Most days without fail I use the Lord & Berry kissproof lip liner* in the shade blossom and this is the perfect shade for me as it leans more onto the berry side of proceedings and looks lovely alone. It also goes really well underneath my Korres Lip Butter in the plum shade too for something a little more hydrating.
