How To Tackle Your Life Admin Like A Pro
When you get older you start becoming aware of just how admin comes with being an adult. And even though it's one of the things that we all like to put off it still needs doing at some point. As I'm a big lover of organisation and everything that comes along with it I thoroughly enjoy my life admin. But I know it's not a love that is shared by everyone. So even if it's something that you dread here's a few ways to tackle your life admin like a pro.
DON'T AVOID IT
Life admin is hardly the most exciting task to spend your precious time on but it's important. Avoiding it only makes it worse and mount up. And subsequently becomes even more of a dreaded task looming over your head. The worst thing about avoiding it is that you can often run into fees and fines. And who wants to use their hard earned pennies on a fine they could have avoided?

HAVE A SYSTEM
We all have our own systems of doing our admin. I'm personally I'm a big fan of folders. Whether it be a physical or computer folder it helps to keep things separate and instantly more organised. Whilst it might seem easier to have it all in one area. When you're trying to sift through it all to find that one thing you need. Some sort of system where each area of your life has its own home makes things a lot simpler.
DEDICATE TIME TO IT & MAKE IT PART OF YOUR SCHEDULE
Our time is precious and spending it doing dull things like admin is hardly something that we want to do. But it's a necessary part of life. Once you've started to make it part of your schedule it will start to feel more natural. Something I try to do it tackle a different piece of admin a day. For example one evening I will file away all my invoices and then the next. I will organise all my standing orders and make sure they've gone out my account with no problems. The more that you do it the easier it becomes and you understand what everything is a little more.
USE LABELS & A CALENDAR
Maybe it's because I'm slightly addicted to using my label maker but I love labelling things. It's just something that makes sense to me. Again it doesn't matter whether it's a physical folder or one on my computer but using labels makes my organisational system flow so much better. Something else I've found to be super effective when it comes to organisation is using a calendar. It's one of the easiest ways to organise standing orders and bills. I personally use iCal as it syncs automatically and gives you a reminder the day before what is coming up. So you're never caught out and facing a pesky bank charge.
How do you keep everything organised?
