One Palette To Rule Them All
Dedicating an entire blog post to one beauty product isn't something I do all that often. In fact, I can only think of a couple of products that I've dedicated an entire post to so when I do it's a pretty big deal. Eyeshadow palettes aren't ever something I've found myself getting that excited about as so often there is a tonne of shades that I won't use and normally they lean far too warm toned for my liking or my skin tone. But when the Tartlette In Bloom* palette came into my life, I knew instantly that we would more than likely be friends but I didn't realise just how much of a game changer it would be in my routine.

THE SHADOWS THAT I LOVE TO USE
FLOWER CHILD: A simple shadow to be used on a daily basis when I don't want anything really on the lid but I want to cover up any discolouration and have an even wash of colour.
FUNNY GIRL: My first love from this palette and such a beautiful classic champagne shade. I reach for this most days when using this palette and it's the perfect golden champagne and is so easy to wear day to day. You can use this lightly all over the lid or really amp it up to an intense shimmer which is what I do when I want to make more of a statement with my eyes.
SWEETHEART: Not a typical shade for me to reach for but I absolutely love it swept through the crease to add just a touch of definition without being too overwhelming.
JETSETTER: Much like sweetheart I like to use this through the crease to add that little bit of definition to a simple eye look. Also if you're blonde I can imagine this would be a great shade to use through the brows.
ROCKER: When I want to go a little duskier with my makeup I will reach for Rocker. A beautiful taupe shade which is very much like Burberry Pale Barely but just a touch lighter. It makes a statement without being too overbearing and ideal for lovers of minimal makeup that still makes somewhat of a statement. It's so shimmery it almost looks glossy which is something I love.
ACTIVIST: A simple matte brown is what I always look for when it comes to a palette because it's what I like to run through my brows. It has to be a neutral shade as I hate my brows looking too ashy or too warm toned as it never looks natural.
WHY IT'S SUCH AN AWESOME PALETTE
Although there are a few shades that I probably won't use in this palette I will use the vast majority of them and having the ease of a palette with everything that I love on a daily basis is so important to me. Even though I don't really travel anymore and long gone are the days when I was packing an overnight bag to stay with my boyfriend I like to have something that has everything I want in one place. And the huge mirror is such a bonus as well as the slimline and easy to transport packaging, although I have a dressing table I still house all my day to day products in a makeup bag for ease and this fits perfectly. So often palettes are cumbersome and a pain to fit into anything but this isn't.
Dreamy packaging aside the formulation is what makes this palette truly special. The shadows are some of the best that I've ever used and I think they might be even better than my beloved Too Faced palettes which I adore. The shadows are so buttery soft, beautifully pigmented and even though there is a little bit of fall out that doesn't happen once they're applied they stay put all day. Even with my lids which can be a little bit problematic they never crease wear unevenly with or without a primer underneath. And I think I'd go as far to say that if I were to only be able to have one palette for the rest of my makeup wearing days, this would be it. I really cannot fault it in any capacity which is incredibly rare when it comes to beauty as I can usually find one thing that could be better or improved upon but this is dreamy.
Have you ever tried this palette?
