Operation: Use Up

We all have those products that have been in our rotation for a little bit too long and just need using up, even though they're awesome we just can't seem to get to the end of them. As I'm on a mission to stream line everything I own I'm going to start using up the oldest products in stocks and here are some of them:

Two of my very first MAC purchases were the lipstick in Creme Cup and Mineralize Skin Finish Natural. Both awesome products but they've both gone past their expiration dates so just need to be used up. I've not used Creme Cup in such a long time even though I absolutely adore the colour of it, a milky pink that doesn't lean too blue. The scent of MAC lipsticks are just dreamy and truth to be told sometimes I just like to smell them even if I don't plan on using them that day. The MSFN is one of my most used powders yet it just seems to be the gift that just keeps on giving. Particularly on bad skin days as it gives a little extra coverage as well as setting the rest of your make up into place.

Under eye concealers take me a year or so to use up as I'm lucky that I don't suffer too badly with horrendous dark circles. The Bourjois Healthy Mix concealer is something that had been neglected for far too long. It meets all my under eye needs and still adds a little bit of luminosity, I don't love the tube packaging as I find it difficult to dispense the right amount. Benefit High Beam was something I lusted after when I first started blogging and is something I still love now but I simply just forget to use it. I either use this dotted a long the top of my cheekbones or I use it mixed in with my foundation to add a little more luminosity to my skin. Speaking of luminous skin, the L'oreal Lumi Magique foundation is an old favourite of mine. I think this a great budget base as it adds a lot of life to the skin and a lovely amount of coverage.

The Jo Malone White Jasmine & Mint perfume is an item that holds a lot of memories for me. It was a gift from my sister for finishing university. I wore it all throughout the summer after I graduated and on the day of my actual graduation too. I've only got a few spritzes left but it's such a beautiful scent that I will definitely be picking up again after I use this all up. Now I've moved onto more sculpting blush shades and ones of a cream variety I've been neglecting some of my favourite powder options. Although half of me thinks that the Look Beauty blush in Rosy is never ending it's such a lovely item, especially in the winter as it contains shimmer so acts as a highlight too.
