Belle Beauté Français #2
So it is that time of year again when Escentual offer a third off French pharmacy items. We all know the drill I love anything that has that Parisian touch to it and the same goes when it comes to my beauty products too. I've already done one instalment of this post and you can read what products I was loving back in March when they first introduced the offer and of course I'm still remaining loyal to the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo + and Nuxe Reve de Miel. So I've been giving some new products a try to see what else the French pharmacy has to offer.
I was quite excited to see a tiny bottle of Bioderma Sensibo H2O* arrive as it just so darn cute but it has been a long time since I used the original micellar water. This came in handy lately as I was away from home quite a lot and it is much easier to travel around with and for that reason I would probably pick this up again if I was going on holiday. After using it again I have realised that personally I can't find any difference between this and the Garnier Micellar Water so I think I will still continue to purchase the latter above it. Another item from Bioderma was the Sensibo Anti Redness Cream* and recently I've been really into moisturisers that claim to reduce redness so I was eager to try another one. I didn't find this too really do much for redness and it didn't give me as much as hydration as I would have liked either so this was a slight disappointment.
A couple of hair items from Klorane, a brand I remembered being stocked in John Lewis and always been intrigued by the line. I've been using the Klorane Almond Milk Shampoo* which aims to add volume to the hair without weighing it down and help with any static. I really struggle with my hair and static but I've really noticed a difference since using this and it smells absolutely dreamy too. To follow up I've been using the Klorane Mango Butter Conditioning Balm* which again has a lovely smell but it helps to nourish the ends of my hair without weighing it down at all. I will definitely be looking more into the Klorane line as they aren't too expensive but they provide good results.
What is your favourite item from the French pharmacy?
