S/S Style Favourites
I go through fits and starts with what I lust after or buy whenever I go shopping, I can not buy any clothes for months but then I wont buy any beauty items for months either. Lately I have really been into my clothes and picking up new pieces and definitely going for the ethos of quality over quantity. I'm not somebody who really follows what is on trend as I would rather invest in something that is a classic then will only see out one season.
I'm one of those people who really invests when it comes to a watch as I think as it is going to be something I will wear on a daily basis it is important to pick something that will really stand the test of time. I had been wearing my Daniel Wellington Classic St Andrews for a year and a half solid so I got that itch and wanted something else to join my collection. Uniform Wares make some seriously beautiful watches and my boyfriend so kindly bought me the 203 for my 24th birthday that I have been eying up for well over a year now.
Of course what kind of post would this be without the mention of some stripes? I picked up this dress from H&M it is so soft it is absolutely beautiful to wear day or night too. Some new New Balances have joined my collection and I got the 410 style, I have the 420's but I really love how slim these are and navy and white are such a classic. I wear ankle boots all year round and my old ones were looking a little worse for wear so after searching high and low I decided on these from New Look, they are so similar to those ACNE ones we all love. Jumpers are something that I wear all round too as I reside in the UK as we don't have typical seasons so they are a necessity. As we all know I'm a big fan of anything French so a French slogan jumper is obviously going to be a hit with me. I picked up one from Petit Bateau and Whistles and I've been having the daily struggle of picking which one to wear, quite the dilemma obviously.
As a glasses wearer I can easily get bored of the style I have as they sit on my face all day when I'm working. Firmoo contacted me and asked me if I wanted to try out one of their styles and I chose this style* as I'm a complete sucker for tortoiseshell. A feature on Firmoo that is so handy is that you can upload a picture of you and get a feel for what the frames might look like. For the price that you pay the quality, service and delivery speed is awesome and you will know if you wear glasses they can easily go into the hundreds.
