Samples are a girls best friend
Maybe it's because I'm a female but as soon as anything is in miniature form I immediately find it 100x cuter and also just want it because it's tiny. I also have issues with hoarding mini's & samples on the odd occasion I might be traveling and whenever I go to my boyfriends I always have a boat load of them too. They save so much space and a deluxe sample is the best way to try out new products without paying out for something you might not like or get on with.
So many of my favourite products have been found throughout samples and lead me to buy the full version. I used to just throw out those sachets they tend to throw in when you purchase anything from Space NK and House of Fraser but now I keep hold of them. This has also saved me from purchasing products that I was desperate to get hold of but once I used it it I was really disappointed, this happened last year with the Origins GinZing Moisturiser. Which I was absolutely sure I would love as I had such good results with the cream but I found it to be cheap and not at all hydrating.
Some of favourites that I discovered from the joy that are mini's are the Origins Make a Difference Plus + Treatment Lotion, Philosophy Purity cleanser, Helenere Eye Contour Cream*, L'Occitane Cherry Blossom shower gel & moisturiser, Benefit They're Real, Benefit Stay don't Stray, Neom Body Oil* and Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist*. I'm immediately drawn more to brand if you buy something and they pop in some samples as your pretty much bound to return coveting something else. Getting a sample is vital when buying a high end foundation too as in the UK we can't return make up and what if we don't get on with it? Thats a lot of money the drain.
What have you discovered through samples & mini's?
