Face #3
I have been playing around with my make up a lot more recently and I have some really amazing products on rotation it is becoming difficult to know what to pick. I'm still pretty minimal in what I wear as I don't like to apply too much as I just don't need it on a daily basis and I'm going make up less more and more nowadays which is an amazing feeling. However on those days when I do slick it all on I absolutely love doing so when I find a combination that works well for me I actually get excited about getting ready in a morning.
I've been using a new moisturiser which is the Jurlique Calendula Redness Rescue Soothing Moisturising Cream* and it is amazing for helping any redness I might have so I now don't apply a primer unless I really want my make up to last. Of course my concealer duo hasn't changed at all since my last make up post so we don't need to dwell on them I just really love them and they meet all my needs. The foundation I'm using at the moment is the YSL Youth Liberator which is perfect skin in a bottle, it has skincare benefits worked into it too which it an added bonus considering the price. It leaves such a beautiful finish on the skin it perks up any dullness whilst leaving a radiant satin finish which is my favourite when it comes to my base.
I've been setting all that down with the Tarte Amazonian Clay Airbursh Foundation which Sophie passed onto me, although marketed as a foundation I absolutely love this as a setting powder and for touching up throughout the day if I'm out of the house for 10 hours at a time. I've gone back to an old favourite for my blush in the form of the Look Beauty blush in Rosy, such a pretty pink with golden shimmer shot through it so I don't need to apply a highlighter as this does the job for me. Eyes and brows are kept simple with a matte brown and a shimmery champagne from the Collection Nude Palette, that for £4 I think it might have been the best palette I've ever bought. I've been using the L'Oreal Miss Manga mascara in combination with the MeMeMe Dark & Divine lashes* it creates a doll eyed affect with a lot of volume and length although things can smudge a little. The latest tinted lip balm to join my stocks is the Lanolips Lip Ointment in Rose* which is such a pretty shade it leaves a pink sheen to the lips whilst providing hydration.
