A Note on Nars Douceur
Oh Nars where have you been all my life? Seriously though I only bought my first item from the brand a couple of weeks a go from ASOS when there was a 30% off code floating around. Nars is the brand that I always hear people say if they could only use one brand for the rest of their life it is mostly this one, saying that I have also never really heard a bad word about them. I have a wish list the length of my arm currently mainly more blushes and some of the matte lip pencils and maybe the sheer glow foundation too.
I have a penchant for brown toned pinks, they suit my complexion so much more and add some sort of shape to my hamster cheeks. So obviously Nars Douceur was bound to be perfect for me but when I looked at swatches online it always looked a lot more brown than it did pink so I was slightly hesitant for it to arrive. Known for a solid formula with a buttery texture and always highly pigmented too and I can report it does all that and more. Although powder formulations are always known to last longer on the skin this lasts longer than all of my other make up, I was pretty blown away to see 13 hours later it was still sculpting my cheeks. I apply with this with a Real Techniques Stippling Brush as that way I can get more control with application and amount. The matte packaging pleases me greatly although it can get dirty easily its nothing a wet wipe can't fix. I have definitely struck up a love affair with these blushes now and already have my eye on a few more.
