Something New

For months and months now I have been debating getting a full fringe cut back in. As for the past nearly 5 years I have always had a photographer boyfriend I have an entire catalogue of my hair cuts/colours and styles it would seem so finding a reference point was easy enough. For the good part of the past year and a half my hair really hasn't had much a style to it at all which was making me lazy with it and I fancied a change. Over much deliberation over on Twitter I finally decided to just go for it as it only hair it will grow out. Luckily my best friends Mum is my hairdresser so she snipped it in for me on Friday evening. I feel so much more like myself again as I have always had some sort of fringe going on for as long as I can remember.

I always think when you do something bold with your hair your make up switches up slightly to go with your new look. So I decided it was time that I defined my eyes a little more than I am used to doing so I have been using the Collection Eyeshadow Pencil in Vanilla Sky as base for my shadow to stop any creasing. Then the shade Walk of Shame from the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette which neutralises the amount of shimmed in the Collection pencil. Also for the first time in about 6 years I am using a black liner which the L'Oreal Superliner Gelmatic* and this creates a really nice amount of definition to my eyes without looking too overdone.
