The many shades of Berry

The theme of this post may seem a little out of place now we are in 'Spring' but as Spring hasn't really sprung its ok right? Berry shades are something that have always had a special place in my heart whether it be nail polish or lipstick its pretty probable at some point I will be wearing something berry coloured at any one time. I think its because of my very fair complexion and green eyes purpley shades always seem to sit well with me and really make my eyes pop. So I have gathered together a few of my favourites that sit in this colour palette and they are;

For cheeks we have Sleeks Pomegranate blush and Benefits Benetint both of which are very pretty shades as always with Sleek products use with a light hand otherwise you will look like Aunt Sally. The only eyeshadow I own that sits under this category is MAC's 'Blackberry' and this looks beautiful through the crease with 'Naked Lunch' all over the lid. For lips I have all aspects covered with a lip balm, lip butter and full blown lip stick so theres the Korres lip butter in Plum, Revlon lip butter in Berry Smoothie and finally the Kate Moss lipstick in 107. Lastly for those nails I have two offerings from Essie in the shades 'Soulmate' and 'Angora Cardi' both of which really dominated not only my hands but my toes too in the cooler months (not like its any warmer in March ;). Finally an old favourite is Models Own 'Purple Ash' purchased during my second year of university and still going strong.
