Merry Christmas

I'm sure that your blog feed is full of posts that look a little something like this but I wanted to throw my own into the mix anyway. It's rare that I get the chance to just 'chat' to you guys but this post seems like the perfect opportunity to do that. Of course, the main point of the post is to wish you all a Merry Christmas so let's do that now.  

Sometimes I worry that those words have started to lose their meaning as they are said so often but I truly hope you all have the most wonderful time. I'm going to take the next couple of days off from posting to enjoy time with my loved ones as nothing makes me happier than spending quality time with my family, boyfriend and friends. For some, the festive season is a super difficult time and a real struggle. So for those people I hope you're safe and taking good care of yourself and surrounding yourself with the best people that you possibly can. I always think it's important to remember that not everyone is having the most wonderful time of the year.
