5 Awesome Posts You Need To Read
Whilst I try and share the love as much as I can over on this side on the internet. I don't find myself sharing awesome content enough. I've rounded up five of my favourite blog posts to share with you today. New and old.
THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO NOT GIVING A FUCK
I've had this post saved to my bookmarks for well over a year. I think we all find ourselves caring a little too much about what other people think. After all, we live in a world of instant gratification with social media and so often we measure our worth on how many likes a photo on Instagram got. I read this post when I'm not feeling so great and could really do with a pick me up. It soon makes me feel like I can take on the world once again. It makes the concept of giving a damn seem so silly and I think that's what it needs to be sometimes.
tlf no: 56 | THE BEST THING'S I'VE LEARNED WHILST FREELANCING - COCORRINA
If I could pinpoint one person who sparked my love for dreamy hand lettering. It would be the wonderful Cocorrina. Her post on the thing's that she has learned whilst freelancing is awesome. It's not one of those pretentious "oh aren't I wonderful I'm a freelancer and bring in this amount of cash from my craft" kind of posts. She shares some really valuable lessons that can be applied to so many other aspects of life.
is feeling like a fraud part of being a creative - sense & SensIbility
I always thought that self-doubt was normal. Sounds completely ridiculous when it's said or typed out loud doesn't it? If you've never heard of Imposter Syndrome I highly recommend looking into it. The way that Candice talks in this post. Makes me feel like I'm not completely alone with these doubts and they're something that everyone encounters in their creative endeavours. I think it's also something that is super relevant to the blogging world too.
30 THINGS I'VE LEARNED BEFORE 30 - THE BAND WIFE
The Band Wife is one of my all-time favourite blogs. It's the only place I've found comfort in being in a long distance relationship with a touring musician. Whilst this isn't a post all about that it's got some amazing lessons included. I'm a sucker for posts like this as I always find myself relating to them in some way or another. And who does love a quick listicle to brighten your day?
TUNNEL VISION AND ANIMAL RIGHTS - LOVE FROM BERLIN
Rae is one of my favourite people online, her posts are incredible, whatever she writes about. This post in particular surrounding veganism is a great read. Even as a meat eater I found myself nodding along the entire way. I always presumed that vegans would be the most compassionate people on earth. But when it comes to other people their aggression is pretty terrifying if you don't follow their way of life.
