Your Weekend Reading, Watch & Listen List #17
Welcome to the first weekend reading list of 2020! The Christmas holidays meant that I watched and consumed a lot of good stuff and I’m excited to share it with you. Whilst I hoped I’d go into the new year feeling super excited to get back into work a mixture of hormones, January blues, and bad weather has left me feeling less than enthused and all I want to do is curl up in my heated blanket so I’m currently easing myself back into the swing of things.
Cheer on Netflix is a must watch, such a fascinating world.
Don’t F*ck with Cats is such an interesting one, not for the faint hearted with some of the scenes but the story is fascinating.
Louis Theroux has a new documentary out which is worth a watch.
Spinning Out is singing to my figure skater past and it’s a nice easy watch and Jonathan Von Ness is in too.
A Simple Favour is a great movie to watch if you don’t want something too complex.
We finally watched the Joker over Christmas and thought it was fantastic, I understand the criticisms but from the acting to the colour grading it’s superb.
You season 2 came out and whilst I wasn’t blow away I think season 3 has a lot of promise.
We’re rewatching The Office whilst we have lunch and I absolutely adore that show, certainly in my top 5 of all time.
I finally finished binging my way through Grey’s Anatomy and season 16 resumes next week and I cannot wait.
Podcast wise I finally listening to my one of boyfriend’s favourites, Scroobius Pip’s Distraction Pieces.
Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place is back, it’s always one of my favourites.
I really enjoyed Michelle’s highlight post from the last 10 years.
A Cup Of Jo wrote a brilliant post on how to change the way you think about money.
If I was a child this would be my dream bedroom.
Megs IKEA dressing room makeover is just perfect.
