My Top 5 Skincare Brands
I'm quite picky when it comes to what skincare I use. Years and years of just shoving anything onto my face and then suffering from cystic acne made me really cautious of what I was using. As soon as I find a brand that works I tend to stick with it, so, here are my top 5 skincare brands.
Liz Earle: I've said this before and I'll say it again, Liz Earle was the first proper skin care brand that I ever used. I find the line so simple to shop and for a beginner that is exactly what you want and need. There hasn't been anything from the line that I've used and not loved and it's always what I return back to when my skin is in a funk.
Favourite include: Cleanse & Polish, Instant Boost Skin Tonic, Eye Bright Lotion* and Superskin Moisturiser*
balance Me: A brand that I discovered through blogging world but not one that gets enough love in my opinion. Although they have more of a natural approach to their products I don't find them too heavy on my skin as that is something I can be sensitive to.
Favourites include: Cleanse and Smooth Balm*, Skin Bright Hydrating Face Mist* and Wonder Eye Cream
The Body Shop: Somewhere that I definitely would have snubbed for facial skin care, they do incredible body care but I never really gave their skin care a chance. Over the years, they've brought out some awesome items out and they've become one of my go-to brands.
Favourites include: The Bouncy Sleep Mask*, Camomile Cleansing Butter and Vitamin C Serum*
Jurlique: A brand that has totally dominated my skin care routine for the last year. They have a huge range to suit all types of skin conditions which I think is why I get on with the line so well. I always find the ingredients they use to be really gentle on my complexion and my skin never feels stripped or irritated.
Favourite include: Fruit Enzyme Mask*, Calendula Moisturiser* and Rosewater Hydrating Mist*
Origins: Probably my favourite skin care brand. Although, they aren't as natural as they like to make out I still absolutely adore them as I think you really get your money's worth as they are pricey. As Origins is part of the Estee Lauder family you can always find them in CCO's which makes them a little cheaper.
Favourites include: Make A Difference Plus Moisturiser, Dr Weils Brightening Serum and Make a Difference Rejuvenating Lotion
