My All Time Favourite Makeup Shades

I'm a complete creature of habit when it comes to what colour palette I use in my makeup routine. The shades aren't wild or daring, but they are what I feel comfortable in and what I (think) suits my complexion down to a T. So going from my nails to my lips here are my all time favourite shades to wear. 

Cheeks: I'm not a bronzer girl, let's just get that out there, I've never found one that suits me. I'm very much a blusher girl though, from creams to powders to liquids I'm well experienced in the blush department. A dusty pink shade preferably in a cream formula is where my heart lies in the summer and once A/W hits I'm all about the cool berry shades that set off my green eyes so well.

Favourites include: Stila Convertible Colour in Lilium, Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed, and Sleek Blush in Pomegranate.

Nails: My nail colour is the only adventurous area of my beauty routine. I'm not afraid of slicking on a bright coral as soon as the warmer months hit. I do have to be careful with some shades though as they can make your hands look a little corpse-like. Reds and cool teals are my most worn shades, they are just super classic and chic and make my hands look healthy. 

Favourites include: Essie Absolutely Shore, China Glaze Fifth Avenue, Essie Cute as a Button and Rimmel Hip Hop. 

Lips: I'm not one for really bold lip shades, apart from red, I'm a sucker for a classic red. For the day to day I stick with a brown-toned pinks, they are my absolute favourite for a minimal makeup look. Sometimes I will go for something a little more plum & purple toned if I'm feeling adventurous, they are such pretty shades against fair skin and green eyes. 

Favourites include: Revlon Matte Balm in Sultry, No7 Stay Perfect Red Lipstick, Korres Lip Butter in Plum and Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick in shade 4. 

Eyes: Every so often I will try and break out of my eye colour comfort zone, it only ends up in a boat load of micellar water though. I'm a sucker for neutrals, anything that is champagne coloured and shimmery always gets my seal of approval, Although, they are a couple of other shades that I love such steely greys and cool toned purples. 

Favourites include: MAC Naked Lunch, MAC Blackberry and the Naked 2 Palette.
