A Few New Home Additions

As Spring has now seemingly sprung? I've been having my annual deep clean and switching around my decor. I do this every year, it's great to get rid of all the clutter that has gathered over the festive season. I've also been making a few homeware related purchases and of course adding to my ever growing cactus collection. 

My desk chair wasn't something that was suitable for the amount of hours I'm sat in it. I really didn't want a big bulky standard desk chair. Even though they might be comfortable, it would look so ugly in my room. I went to for this wicker number from IKEA , loaded up with pillows and blankets it's been making my work days much cosier. Of course, Bella is a huge fan of anything she can curl up in.

I've been adding even more cactuses to my space, I can't get enough of them. I'm slowly turning or more accurately, have turned into a crazy cactus lady who tends to them as if they're my children. My most recent finds have been from Wilkinsons and IKEA , you can find them in so many stores now. During my Spring clean, I realised that I needed to do something to save my dressing table. Three years of sitting at it every day has taken effect and it's looking worse for wear. I had some marble contact paper laying around so I decided to upscale it until I can afford to replace it. Marble against the glass looks so pretty and sleek.

I've got a lot of artwork on my walls already, but I couldn't pass up this adorable Gemma Correll print from Ohh Deer*. It's currently sat next to my desk and it just the sight of it brightens up my day. Same goes for this adorable little watermelon candle* sadly it doesn't smell like watermelon but it's such a fun little piece to have around.
