5 TV Shows I Watch Repeatedly

A couple of weeks ago I shared 6 books that I read repeatedly so I thought it was only fair to give my favourite tv shows some limelight. If binge watching TV series were a sport then I would win all the medals. I'm constantly on the lookout for a new show to watch, but there are a few series that never got old.

THE U.S OFFICE

The storyline of The Office sounds pretty dull on the surface and until you start watching it you can never understand why it's so captivating. A mockumentary on Dundler Mifflin paper company, you fall completely in love with the employee's and I'm sure that we've all shed a few or in my case thousands of tears over Pam & Jim. The episodes are so short so light-hearted to watch, but you're always left wanting more. Whenever I'm not quite sure what to watch then I usually end up putting this back on and getting sucked in all over again.

F.R.I.E.N.D.S

I'm not sure I've ever met anybody who can get bored of this cult show. Based in New York it follows a group of 6 friends who all go through the trial and tribulations of being a 20 something trying to figure it all out. I've never found myself get so emotionally invested into characters as I have with F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Nor have I ever found somebody else who I could relate to as I can with Chandler Bing's and his dry wit and sarcasm.

PARKS AND RECREATION

This was a show that took a few episodes for me to get truly hooked on. Again like The Office it doesn't sound all that exciting but it's the characters that make this show so loveable. It follows the Parks and Recreation department of Pawnee, Indiana. Ron Swanson and April Ludgate are my spirit animals in every way possible. The final season aired this year and it was so nice to see it get the finale that did this incredible show justice.

GOSSIP GIrl

On the surface, GG is everything that I normally dislike with a passion. My best friend is a huge fan of the show and was forever telling me to watch and I'm so glad that I did. Of course, a lot of the show is ridiculously dramatic for entertainment purposes. Even though I can't ever relate to almost absurd problems of the upper east siders there is something horribly addictive about watching their lives unfold. I'm not sure I will ever get over Chuck & Blair's love and that Ellie Saab dress is what every girl dreams of.

PRISON BREAK

As I've got a slight addiction to crime documentaries you might have guessed that PB would be right up my street. A story of two brothers, Michael & Lincoln. Lincoln has been wrongfully accused of killing the vice president's brother and is sentenced to death by the electric chair. There are so many twists and turns in their story that you can never get bored, even though I've watched this so many times I still find myself getting nervous for the brothers.

What are your favourite tv shows to watch on repeat?
